District Hospital records daily 10 snakebite cases

The District Hospital Jaleshwor is recording a daily 10 snakebite cases on an average as the continuing monsoon has stoked an outburst in the rise of snake population in the district.
In every 24 hours the hospital treats 10 to 15 people bitten with venomous and non venomous snakes, Hospital's Chief, Dr Manish Pandey said.
Among the snakebite cases, most are related to venomous krait (Bungarus caeruleus), Pandey added.
